Sweet Potato Mac & Cheese

Ingredients:
- 2 cups sweet potato puree
- 2 cups macaroni pasta
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
Cook macaroni pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
Add garlic powder and stir for 1 minute
Add sweet potato puree and milk, stirring until combined and heated through
Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth
Season with salt and pepper to taste
