Chocolate PB Brownie Trifles
Ingredients:
- 1 package brownie mix
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups chocolate pudding
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate shavings
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions:
Sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract should all be mixed together in a bowl
Wait 30 minutes to let the flavors mix
Whisk cold milk into instant vanilla pudding mix to make it
Cool in the fridge until set
Mix powdered sugar, almond extract, and heavy cream in a different bowl until stiff peaks form
To make a light and airy mousse, gently fold the whipped cream into the vanilla pudding that has already set
In serving glasses or a trifle dish, layer cubed pound cake, macerated peaches, and the vanilla mousse mixture
Put more layers on top of each other until the trifle dish is full
Finish with a layer of mousse
Put the Peach Trifle in the fridge for at least two hours to let the flavors mix and the dessert set
Add toasted sliced almonds as a garnish before serving to make it look nicer and give it more flavor
