Grilled Cheese Quesadilla



This Grilled Cheese Quesadilla is the next level up in quesadillas. It combines the crispy goodness of a grilled cheese sandwich with the tastes of a regular quesadilla. It has cheese, salt, and lots of tasty vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a large pan or skillet, heat the oil over medium-low

Spread out one tortilla in the pan and cover it with half of the shredded cheddar cheese

On top of the cheese, spread out the diced tomatoes, red onion, green bell pepper, and black olives

Add the rest of the shredded cheddar cheese to the vegetables

To make a quesadilla sandwich, put the second tortilla on top

Put a tablespoon of butter on the top tortilla

Carefully turn the quesadilla over when the bottom tortilla turns golden brown and the cheese starts to melt, which should take about two to three minutes

On the other side of the quesadilla, spread the last tablespoon of butter

Keep cooking for another two to three minutes on each side, or until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted

Take the quesadilla out of the pan and let it cool for one minute

Then cut it into wedges

Do not cool down

Serve hot with your favorite salsa or dipping sauce
